Position: Senior level – Program/ project management, costing tracking & alliance management
Location: Biosimilar Sciences India LLP, Navi-Mumbai.
Reports To: Operational Head.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Program/Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful development, cost tracking, and alliance management of our biosimilar product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management within the biopharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on biosimilar product development and alliance management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program and Project Management:
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for biosimilar product development, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams consisting of scientists, regulatory experts, clinical researchers, manufacturing specialists, and other relevant stakeholders to drive project milestones and deliverables.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of biosimilar products.
2. Costing Tracking:
Implement and manage robust costing tracking systems to monitor and analyse project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize project resources without compromising quality.
3. Alliance Management:
Foster and nurture strong relationships with strategic partners, including contract research organizations, manufacturers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders involved in biosimilar development.
Serve as the primary point of contact for alliance partners, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of goals.
Facilitate regular alliance meetings, review progress, address challenges, and negotiate terms to maximize mutual benefits.
4. Risk Management
Identify potential risks and challenges related to biosimilar development, costing, and alliance management, and develop proactive risk mitigation plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
5. Communication and Reporting
Prepare and deliver clear and concise project updates, reports, and presentations to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
Ensure transparency and effective communication across departments.
6. Continuous Improvement
Drive process improvements and best practices in program and project management, costing tracking, and alliance management to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific, technical, or business field.
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in program/project management, specifically within the biosimilar or pharmaceutical industry
Strong understanding of biosimilar product development processes, regulatory requirements, and cost management principles for North American Territories.
Understanding of US Regulatory and market landscape.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, work effectively in cross-functional teams, and navigate collaborations with external partners.
Proficiency in project management tools and software
PMP certification or similar credentials are a plus.
