EVA

Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) Plastics are versatile copolymers of ethylene and vinyl acetate, offering a wide range of applications due to their unique properties. With excellent elasticity and flexibility, EVA can be processed like various thermoplastics. This thermoplastic resin is commonly copolymerized with other resins like LDPE and LLDPE or used as a part of a multilayer film. Its superior low-temperature toughness and resistance to UV radiation make it highly suitable for outdoor applications.

EVA comes in various forms, including high density, medium density, and low density, with weight percent of vinyl acetate generally between 10 to 40% and the rest is ethylene. The higher the VA content, the more rubber-like the EVA resin is, offering superior impact resistance.

EVA materials are widely used in injection, extrusion, compression, and blow molding processes, making it highly adaptable to different industries. It is commonly used as a sealant in meat and dairy packaging structures, footwear, wire, and cable insulation, medical packaging, and more. Its main characteristics include excellent flexibility, transparency, and impact strength, making it an ideal material for a wide range of applications.
